Saba Ghori is a seasoned diplomat and development expert, having worked for over two decades on women’s rights, human rights, rule of law, and entrepreneurship programs with a focus on women in South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Saba has significant experience fundraising, designing successful advocacy programs, carrying out programmatic assessments, research and evaluation projects, and drafting grant proposals.

Saba has worked for more than two decades as an advocate for women’s rights and as a senior Gender Advisor for the Department of State, including the Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Rights Issues and the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, where she oversaw, developed and managed millions of dollars in rule of law, human rights and women’s rights programming. Saba has worked for different women’s rights NGOs, including Women for Women International and Vital Voices Global Partnership, where she oversees their social empowerment program, violence against women programming, and men’s engagement work in post-conflict countries and has served on numerous boards of immigrant, Muslim, and South Asian anti-domestic violent organizations.
